Complaints and returns

Information complaints
In the case of a complaint, we recommend that you first make a complaint known to us by emailing info@jlfproducts.com with your customer number, packing slip or order number and article numbers of the products concerned. We offer a suitable solution at all times.

Exchange and return information
We are only satisfied when our customers are satisfied. We would like to see that you are fully satisfied with your purchased products. If you want to exchange or return the item, you must return the package to us within 14 working days. We request that you handle both the product and the packaging and packaging with care and use the product only to the extent necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics and operation of products.

Before you want to return your goods, we ask you to contact us by telephone or email. We will then let you know how you can return your order (or part of it). The costs for the return shipment will be borne by the customer. We do not pay cash or vouchers, but transfer the amount due to your bank account. This generally takes 4 to 5 business days.

Pay attention! Special order items / products cannot be exchanged or returned. You should think of a different RAL color, specially customized device / component etc.

Pay attention! If you return an item outside the specified conditions or for no stated reason, the payment obligation will not expire and we may decide not to process future orders. In case of doubt, please contact our customer service.

Right of withdrawal / return
1 This article only applies if the client is a natural person who is not acting in the exercise of his profession or business. Business customers are therefore not entitled to a right of withdrawal. Customer has the right to terminate the agreement with JLF Products BV at a distance within 14 calendar days after receipt of the product, without giving reasons, free of charge. The period starts on the day after the customer, or a third party designated by him in advance, who is not the carrier, has received the product, or: if the customer has ordered several products in the same order: the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by him has received the last product; if the delivery of a product consists of several shipments or parts: the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by him, received the last shipment or part; in the case of agreements for the regular delivery of products during a certain period: the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by him, has received the first product.

2 Only the direct costs for the return shipment will be borne by the customer. The customer must therefore bear the return costs himself. If these costs are higher than the regular postal rate, JLF Products BV provides an estimate of these costs. Any costs paid by the customer for shipping and payment of the product to the customer will be reimbursed to the customer upon return of the entire order.

3 Within the withdrawal period referred to in paragraph 1, the client will handle the product and the packaging with care. The customer will only open the package and use the product only to the extent necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics and operation of products.

4 The customer is only liable for value reduction of the product that is the result of a way of handling the product that goes beyond what is permitted in the previous paragraph.

5 The customer may terminate the agreement in accordance with paragraph 1 of the period specified in this article, making it known that he is withdrawing from the purchase.

In the event of a digital report, JLF Products BV confirms receipt of that report. After dissolution, the client still has 14 days to return the product. It is also possible to immediately return the product within the cooling-off period specified in paragraph 1 of this Article, provided that the model withdrawal form or other unambiguous withdrawal statement is included.

6 Amounts (already paid in advance) by the customer will be reimbursed to the customer as soon as possible, but no later than within 14 days after termination of the agreement, in the same way that the customer has paid for the order. If the client has opted for a more expensive method of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery, JLF Products BV will not reimburse the additional costs for the more expensive method. Unless JLF Products BV offers to collect the product itself, JLF Products BV may wait to refund until JLF Products BV has received the product or until the customer can prove that he has sent back the product, whichever is the earlier.

7 On the website, information about whether or not the right of withdrawal is applicable and any desired procedure is stated in a timely manner before the conclusion of the agreement.

Payment
1 The customer must make payments to JLF Products BV according to the payment methods indicated in the order procedure and possibly on the website. JLF Products BV is free in the choice of offering payment methods and these may also change from time to time. In the event of payment after delivery, the client has a payment period of 14 days starting on the day after delivery.

Liability
1 This article only applies if the client is a natural or legal person who is acting in the exercise of his profession or business.

2 The total liability of JLF Products BV vis-à-vis the customer for attributable failure to comply with the agreement is limited to reimbursement of a maximum of the amount stipulated for that agreement (including VAT).

3 Liability of JLF Products BV vis-à-vis the customer for indirect damage, including in any case - but explicitly not exclusively - consequential damage, lost profit, lost savings, loss of data and damage due to business interruption, is excluded.

4 Apart from the cases mentioned in the previous two paragraphs of this article, JLF Products BV is not liable to the customer for any compensation whatsoever, regardless of the grounds on which an action for compensation would be based. However, the limitations referred to in this article will lapse if and insofar as damage is the result of intent or gross negligence on the part of JLF Products BV.

5 The liability of JLF Products BV vis-à-vis the customer due to imputable failure to comply with an agreement arises only if the customer gives JLF Products BV a written notice of default, promptly and within a reasonable period to clear the shortcoming, and JLF Products BV also after that period continues to fall short in the fulfillment of its obligations. The notice of default must contain as detailed a description as possible of the shortcoming, so that JLF Products BV is able to respond adequately.

6 A condition for the existence of any right to compensation is always that the customer reports the damage in writing to JLF Products BV as soon as possible, but at the latest within 14 days, after its occurrence.

7 In the event of force majeure, JLF Products BV is not obliged to compensate for any damage caused thereby to the customer.
